Fanuc LR MATE 200iC with IR-Vision and force sensor

FANUC LR Mate 200iC robot locates and simulates deburring a part using iRVision and an FS-10iA Force Sensor.

The LR Mate 200iC robot locates and determines the orientation of the part using iRVision. The LR Mate 200iC robot uses the end of arm tooling to change the orientation of the part and starts the process over. Once the orientation of the part is found, the FS-10iA Force Sensor is used to simulate deburring the inside of the part.

Comau Roller Hemming

Hemming (Automotive) Hemming is a technology used by the automotive industry to join inner and outer closure panels together (hoods, doors, tailgates, etc.). It is the process of bending/folding the flange of the outer panel over the inner one. The accuracy of the operation affects significantly the appearance of the car’s outer surfaces and is therefore a critical factor in the final quality of a finished vehicle.
